====== I just setup IPCop and I can't get to the internet ======

There are a variety of reasons why you may not be able to access the internet on first setting up your IPCop. 

  - You may have configured your network incorrectly
    * You may have a subnet overlap - [[faq:setup:subnetoverlap|All zones must be on different subnets]]
    * All zones must be physically isolated from each other
  - IPCop may not have been fully or correctly setup 
    * [[faq:setup:nicsetup|Your network cards (NIC's) may not have been correctly recognised]]
    * You may have plugged the cables into the wrong network cards
      * Check the MAC addresses for each card, using ifconfig /a from the ipcop root shell or on the firewall GUI under "Network Settings"
