I have added a computer to Blue but it is not connecting to the Internet. What do I do?
Make sure you have read over the Blue Mantra
- Blue must be on a separate physical wire from Green (not on same hub/switch)
- Blue must be on a separate logical subnet.
- Blue cannot access Red unless Blue Access are opened.
- Blue cannot access IPCOP unless Blue Access are opened.
- Blue cannot access Green unless pinholes are opened.
- Blue can be port-forwarded to in exactly the same manner as Green.
- Set IPCop blue IP address as gateway and DNS server for Blue devices when not using DHCP.
- When using DHCP on Blue, verify that IPCop Blue IP address is the DNS server in the DHCP configuration page.
- When using an access point, you must add each computer individually to Blue Access.
- When using a wireless router and connecting via the WAN port, you must add the MAC address of the wireless router to Blue Access.
- When using a wireless router and connecting via the LAN port, you must add each computer individually to Blue Access.
- When adding a computer to Blue Access, you can control access by:
- MAC Address Only
- IP Address Only
- MAC and IP Address
